Sec. 21 of Act 65 tasks the CCB, in consultation with the Vermont Academic Detailing Program, registry patients and caregivers, licensed medical cannabis dispensaries, and medical professional stakeholders to make recommendations about Vermont's medical cannabis program, including:
- The conditions that should qualify for medical cannabis;
- Which strains are appropriate for a given condition;
- Dosing and other treatment standards; and
- Any other recommendations that might improve the program.
The group will meet four times over the summer and fall. All meetings are open to the public.
What does this mean? You may join the study committee meetings to share your feedback. If you cannot or do not wish to attend the study committee meetings, but still would like to share your thoughts, please submit your recommendations for the committee to consider by sending an email to CCB.Med@vermont.gov with the subject line STAKEHOLDER RECOMMENDATIONS.
We will collect these comments and share them with the study committee. You may also submit names for individuals who would like to participate in the study committee to the same email address.
