Governor Scott’s office announced via press release yesterday afternoon the signing of S.25, An act relating to miscellaneous cannabis procedures.
This bill, which goes into effect immediately upon passage, amends last year’s Act 164.
Among other things, it requires the creation of a fund designed to assist people interested in becoming involved in the cannabis market who have been disproportionately impacted by prohibition. It also creates new advertising standards and requirements for cannabis products and amends certain reporting requirements and deadlines.
Act 164 and S.25 may be found on the General Assembly’s website.
