We are currently processing medical cannabis applications received on or after March 14, 2023.
The CCB is experiencing a backlog in processing medical cannabis applications.
We are in the process of hiring additional staff to ensure continued uninterrupted access by patients and caregivers to the medical cannabis program.
In the meantime, in order to focus our efforts on processing applications and issuing patient and caregiver cards in a timely manner, we will temporarily not be responding to emails and phone messages inquiring about the status of any medical program application, looking to confirm that medical program staff have received application information, or asking to be emailed application forms that are already readily available on our website.
If an application is missing information required to finish processing the form, staff will reach out to coordinate getting that information.
Again, this is a temporary measure in order to prioritize the timely issuance of patient and caregiver cards.
