Temporary closure of new applications for cultivation licenses

News

On November 20, 2024, the Cannabis Control Board voted to temporarily halt the application process for new cultivation applications, effective February 1, 2025.

The deadline for a complete cultivation application is the close of business, 4:30 pm, January 31, 2025.

If you intend to complete your license application during the warning period, please be diligent in checking email in order to respond quickly to any requests for additional information requested by our licensing team.

Our capacity to answer email and voice messages varies with staffing and volume. Please help us to best serve you by addressing any listed deficiencies by uploading responsive information through the application portal.

Satisfying the Deadline

Incomplete license applications will not hold open the deadline.

An application is complete only if it contains, at the time of submission, all answers, information, and supporting documentation sufficient for the Board to act favorably upon it, including a passing site inspection.  If required questions are unanswered or required documents have been omitted, the application is not complete.  An application may be dismissed if an applicant fails to reply reasonably to requests for clarification or supplemental documentation by the application deadline.
