  • Recommendations surrounding online ordering and delivery
  • Additional allowed license types, including craft cooperative, delivery, and special events
  • Whether cannabis products should contain a minimum amount of cannabidiol (CBD) to aid in the prevention of cannabis-induce psychosis
  • Whether to allow the display and sale of cannabis-related paraphernalia by non-licensed establishments
  • A summary of work completed thus far with Vermont agency partners on economic opportunity program development for individuals who have been historically disproportionately impacted by cannabis prohibition

March 1, 2022

Report prepared by the Vermont Department of Public Safety to the House and Senate Committees on Judiciary and on Government Operations

  • How to achieve geographic equity in Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) availability to conduct roadside evaluations of drivers suspected of alcohol or another substance
  • Whether to expand the availability of the DRE program beyond law enforcement officers to other public safety officials

  • A summary of the implementation and application of the laws governing the Cannabis Control Board. The report will include:
    • Data on the number of license applicants
    • The number of license recipients
    • The number of loans and grants
    • The identification of continuing barriers to accessing the cannabis market for social equity applicants
