Sub-Committee Meetings

The Advisory sub-committees of the Cannabis Control Board will all convene for an hour each. All meetings will be on the third floor of Montpelier’s City Center (89 Main St - masking encouraged) and will not be livestreamed. Exact locations and times are below.

There will be multiple opportunities to present comment during each hour-long meeting. Please reserve any comments for the designated times.

Advisory Sub-Committee Meeting: Lab Standards and Product Safety

The CCB's sub-committee on lab standards and product safety will convene for an hour-long meeting at 11:30am to begin its discussion on product safety standards and lab safety.

Members of the public are encouraged to join in-person in the second floor conference room of the Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food, and Markets (116 State St, Montpelier Vermont). This meeting will not be live-streamed.

Advisory Committee Meeting

The Cannabis Control Board Advisory Committee will convene at 10am for its inaugural meeting. Items to be discussed:

  • An overview of sub-committee structure & upcoming deadlines
  • A presentation on equity in cannabis policy
  • Training from the State Ethics Commission

There will be opportunity to present public comment at the meeting.

Board Meeting

The Cannabis Control Board will convene at 9:30am. Items to be discussed:

  • Board mission and vision statements
  • Upcoming Advisory Committee meeting(s)
  • Consultant Introduction

To comply with Vermont’s open meeting law, the Cannabis Control Board will have a physical meeting space at the Vermont Department of Financial Regulation (89 Main St, Montpelier - third flood conference room). However, presenters and Board members may continue to participate remotely until further notice.

Cannabis Control Board Announces Advisory Committee Members

Montpelier, VT – August 3, 2021 – The Cannabis Control Board has officially seated its full, fourteen-member advisory committee.  The advisory committee, as established by Act 164 (2020) and amended by Act 62 (2021), was created to assist the Cannabis Control Board’s mission to safely, equitably, and effectively implement and administer the laws enabling adult and medical use of cannabis in Vermont.
