The Cannabis Control Board announced a partnership today with NCS analytics, a high-risk data analytics firm, to build and provide a cannabis analytics platform for inventory tracking.
The platform will allow CCB staff to identify and investigate potential issues in nearly real-time to identify suspicious transactions to improve compliance and build public confidence in Vermont's newly-created adult-use retail market.

Cannabis Control Board staff will hold an after-hours Q&A session to field questions from the public on inventory tracking, lab testing, and product registration.
This remote-only event will be recorded and livestreamed to the CCB's YouTube page for anyone unable to attend the live event.
The Board will meet four times in the month of November, plus one additional staff-led live question and answer session.

Yesterday afternoon, President Biden announced the pardon of more than 6,000 people with federal convictions for cannabis possession and called on governors nationwide to take similar steps. Additionally, he directed his administration to review whether cannabis should remain a Schedule I controlled substance.
