The Cannabis Control Board voted on Wednesday, August 31st to adopt a fall meeting schedule. Meetings will continue to be held weekly at 1pm on Wednesdays, unless otherwise stated. The full adopted schedule may be found below:

The Cannabis Control Board announced the hiring of Cary Giguere as Compliance Director during its Wednesday, June 29th, meeting.
The license application window for tier 1-3 manufacturing licenses, as well as wholesaling licenses, are open as of Friday, July 1st. More information available on our guidance page:

S.188 was signed by Governor Scott on May 31, 2022 and became Act 158, an act relating to regulating licensed small cannabis cultivation as farming.

The CCB voted during its Tuesday, May 31st meeting to adopt a new meeting schedule through August of this year. Starting next week, those dates are as follows. All meetings will be Wednesdays at 1pm, unless otherwise noted.
As of Tuesday, May 31, 2022, the application window for new pre-qualification applications is closed.
Individuals or businesses with existing applications have until Tuesday, June 14, 2022 to upload any missing documentation. All incomplete applications will be closed and withdrawn at close of business on the 14th.
The Cannabis Control Board issued its first license Monday May 16th to a small indoor cultivator: Rutland Craft Cannabis in Brandon, Vermont. The applicant, who applied under the Board’s social equity program, has been informed of their licensure and may begin operations immediately.
