The Board voted on October 25, 2023 to indefinitely close the license application window for new Tier 4 indoor cultivation licenses. That window will close at the end of the business day (4:30pm) on Friday, November 24, 2023.
Existing Tier 4 indoor cultivators would still be able to renew their licenses.

The CCB is bringing back its peer networking event series for the end of 2023 and into 2024.
Events and guests are still being nailed down, and this page will be updated periodically as more details become available.
CCB Rule 1.4.5(b) and related guidance required that each cannabis establishment hold $5,000 in escrow to ensure the availability of funds should the establishment need cease operating. The Board amended the relevant rule, effective October 21, 2023, to eliminate this requirement.
Trustees holding cessation-of-operations funds are authorized to return those funds to depositors.
The CCB physical office space at 89 Main Street in Montpelier will be closed next week (October 23-27, 2023) for construction.
All CCB staff will be working remotely during that time. Please plan accordingly.
Staff will return to the office on Monday, October 30th, and will resume in-office work from the second floor of 89 Main Street (currently, CCB offices are on the third floor).
